At first glance, Dunedin may seem a small city of
elegant, historic character, but it is perfectly
formed, full of big city features in the wrappings of
a busy university town. In the city's center most
attractions are within walking distance. Even
within the boundaries of urban Dunedin the distances
are small so taxi rides are short and strolls pleasant.
There are many historical buildings to view and a
stately home which was donated to the City of Dunedin
and has been preserved in the manner in which it was
used, plus a beautifully restored castle and several
gloriously groomed gardens.

This place is just so beautiful....I wouldn't dream of going to Dunedin
without visiting it again.....it's like taking a step back in time!
